This dynamic and rapidly expanding kitchen business are looking for strong sales people who can sell a high end product to a very discerning customer. Full training is provided and this role is based from an exclusive kitchen showroom so if you are good at converting leads then the quoted salary is realistic. We are prepared to consider a variety of backgrounds although there are two major stipulations. Firstly you must have previous experience within the last two years of selling high spend product and secondly lots of personality.

The company offers a fantastic training program designed to advance you to the role of full kitchen designer and is structured in such a way as to ensure your personal success. For this reason we are prepared to look at candidates without previous kitchen design experience although you must have at least two years customer facing sales experience and ideally this will have been gained working with either high spend or luxury products. You must be ready and willing to learn a new product and sales skill and it is therefore likely that you are at a stage in your career where you will readily accept almost learning the kitchen sales process from scratch whether an experienced kitchen designer or new to the industry.

Whilst we will be expecting you to be sales driven and able to close deals, your style must be professional and not aggressive, coercing yet diplomatic. If successful you will be working with a fantastic product and the role is seen as that of a project manager not just kitchen designer. The relationship formed with the customer will see you managing a project from conception through to completion so attention to detail is vital.

The highly competitive world of kitchen design will require you to be incredibly driven and resourceful, a can do attitude coupled with a desire for success are of paramount importance. Once trained you should be expecting the salary quoted, if you are exceptional you will be looking at well in excess of this figure.

With the position being showroom based you will be looking to work retail hours with client visits conducted when required therefore a drivers licence is essential. However knowing some of the hours that can be expected to be worked as a kitchen designer in this industry, this company does not open on Sundays or bank holidays and a generous holiday allowance is also included.

The interview process will consist of an initial telephone conversation where we will be listening for personality, enthusiasm, passion and reasons for wanting to make this move. If successful at this stage you will then be invited to meet the company and from there if offered a position a structured and well developed training plan will be put in place. This is a great business to work for and the commitment from them both financially and supportively in the early stages will give you a true understanding of their commitment to working towards a long term future.

All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence and all successful candidates responded to within 48 hours.
